Got pretty hot before this ride ended as it was only 70° when I started. Rode well up to about 85 miles and then struggled badly from 85-120 miles roughly. Recovered a bit after that, but it had already taken a toll on my average speed. My mapping for this ride got screwed up, so this is actually the map from 6/22 (116 miles) with the addition of the Sanborn loop to tack on about 17 miles. Next time I ride this sort of route I'll do that loop first so the second climb up the escarpment isn't near the very end of the ride. So all in all I'm okay with this ride, but disappointed in the low average speed.
