Finally some nice warm weather, but with a demoralizing wind to beat me down. This was the first ride on my new Yokota Legend K which went pretty well. Assuming we over look the rear wheel shifting and making the tire rub up against the the left chainstay to the point of locking up the drivetrain. And this probably wouldn't be the end of the world except it was right in the middle of the lane as I crossed a highway...with traffic coming of course. Oh, and then there's the cadence sensor whose o-ring mount was worn through so it fell off...right in the wheel track of said lane with traffic coming of course. Thankfully nobody hit it and I was able to recover it without incident once they passed. But other than that, a good maiden voyage! |
