Not the ride I originally intended as I was planning to go North and do some climbing as well. Unfortunately I'm currently nursing a cracked rib or torn sternum cartilage from my oldest daughter jumping on me this weekend while picnicking. Somewhat my fault as we messing around and was about done and I didn't anticipate her jumping on me again. This pretty much the same thing my son did to me a few years ago, but that was late in the year when I was about done riding anyway.
Anyhow, this problem makes it difficult to breath deeply. Also it's difficult to put pressure on my arms when rocking back and forth when climbing. So we'll have to take it day by day. Being laid out on the aerobar isn't problematic except when I first come off of them. Thus doing what I can. Definitely had more in my legs today and could have likely easily done the 50 I intended. |
