The Detroit Project

OK, so I caught a brief blurb a couple of days ago on the news about some group linking SUV's to terrorism. I found it amusing because what the heck, everything that wants action or funding gets linked to terrorism and national security in these post 9/11 days. Christmas Fallout

Well Christmas came and went and the kids all seemed to have a wonderful time. I think Olivia now "gets it" and surely will be wound like an eight day clock come next year. Claire's still too young to do much other than enjoy the twinkling lights! And even Colin seemed to be pretty relaxed and okay with everything this year. He even admitted that he was pretty spoiled this year as he got a lot of toys and only a few clothes. And Mary Lou seems to be enjoying the nice warm slippers and socks that Santa left for her.   …more

Well it's Christmas Eve day. And at this point it's white Christmas at work and a mostly green one at home. Although they are calling for general 1-3 inch snowfall this evening and several more tomorrow. I consider this a good thing. The Dog Next Door

So I'm yacking with Dave at work the other day and somehow we were discussing who knows what -possibly the evil looking dog in the window of Paws in the Pantry, a pet grooming place when the thought of "The Dog Next Door" pops into my head. Another Long Night

Another brutally long night as Claire has found that fussing beats sleeping at 2am! The love of your children can only be measured by your tolerance of such behavior. I have to question it at 2am, but those little smiles set you straight.
