Note: Sweeney/Old Falls/Tonawanda Creek N/Townline/Beach Ridge/Aiken/Meahl/Saunders Settlement/Subbera/Upper Mountain/Blackman/Thrall/Green/Ridge/Plank/Van Dusen/Green and then backtracking to Tonawanda Creek N/Old Falls/Sweeney/Robinson. This ride started well as it was calm, dry and very dark. And then just before halfway it started to rain which quickly turned into a downpour. I pressed on, happy as a lark as I plowed through lots of water puddled on the road. Loving it! But then about 6 miles from the end I hit something and blew out my front tire. Thus I stopped and changed a flat in a downpour. and I was back on my way. The tire seemed fine when I changed it and started riding again. I made it safely home, but nfortunately I didn't see the small buldge in the sidewall as I did when I got home. Fortunately it held up, but the tire needs to be replaced. Still, a great time this morning!
