Caught Up Inside

It's lonely and dark outside
Not much different on the inside
Sometimes I just stop and wonder why
Is there any reason why?
So many people can laugh while others cry?

There's somethings on the inside
That just want to be let free
Can't see no reason why
Some will live, and some will die
It's all caught up inside
Not quit knowing right
It's all caught up inside, of me

Not much to say today
It's a cold typical day
Just as a rat runs to hide
The cat jumps aside to wait
Another blood hungry fool
Me and you derailed like a train
By the systems powerful overrule
They'll never change
It's just typical of these days

They will revive, it will go on now
Something's missing, but it's all there
There will be life forms, to use the air

The Entity II: Thoughts Of Confusion

Caught up inside life
Not knowing which way to turn
I have no expression of feeling
Only a mind that's begun to wear
A cover that hides all fears
A mind of unanswered questions
Never knowing when they will be born

A world of dreams illusion
Caught up in the mass confusion
A simple song, keeps going on
Looking for one conclusion.

The Entity I: The Traveler

See the tunnel, stay outside
Glowing light rays bend at sides
Don't go near it, it burns your eyes
I didn't listen, got sucked inside

Total darkness, can't see light
Can't go for it, I am blind
Down the tunnel, into darkness
Another planet? Another way?
Got four choices, as I fly

I can feel it, as it draws near
Can't turn at it, I'm forced away
I got no choices, not today
Stay on the straight path, can't turn away
Got no reason, got no way
I've lost my feeling, my shape and form

I'm just a mind now, in open air
You can't see me, I'm not there
It doesn't matter, near or far
You have to listen, as I open your mind
I have power, without a form
'cause I am just an entity
A trick, a mental core

I got up this morning, didn't go to school
Just sat around and played some tunes
Oh, don't be a fool, just take on your life
Don't live it for me or no one tonight!

The light grows dim as we live our lives
Each of us in opposite directions
It's just a matter of time, we'll read the signs
Lost obsessions
