Trying Times

Time and time again, heard the story
Of another one, who's finally made his way
Betting lines, they show the times before us
Hell it's hard to stay alive
These times, they can be trying

Searching for an answer
Working late into the night
Isn't one solution, can't see no end in sight
It's going to take us all
Just to put it all back into line

Trying, trying times
When I was just a child
Trying, trying times
When will it all subside?

There are many people, people who have tried
So many people, their eyes begin to cry
And in their tears, all through the years
They search to find the answer, a single cure
The trying times, they cloud our minds

And now the time has come
Time for us to be aware
Oh, we must lear, spread the words
To find the answers that we must share.

I wish I had the time to do, all the things I've wanted too
Yet there is no reason why, I can't seem to find the time

I think that you see me, behind those big blue eyes
Somehow I wonder, I'm on your mind
I really think we could be, tonight

Why don't you let innocence go tonight
If you wait until tomorrow

I listen to, your every move
Hoping you listen to, me

I'd take you to a movie show, if that's alright

Persons

A warm person, the sun it shines today
A cold person, left you standing in the rain
Such a bold persons, they let nothing in the way
Just sold persons, buying int all today

Why must the persons sit, when they know they don't fit in?
A sole person, he just laughs
One hundred thousand, they just cry
And everyone wants to know, why?

The persons they have rules
The government to maintain law
There have been many who've crossed the line
Some to avoid the trying times

Persons, running from persons
Persons, getting by
Persons, living underground
Persons, getting high

Why must things happen?
How does this person get by?
Persons in charge of justice
Persons commit the crimes.

Like a story, you've heard before
Didn't want to believe it, it's so absurd

You didn't want to listen
You wouldn't take my words
You didn't see me, so you…
Took the chance

Now you're nothing, just a mind
Gave you warning, a second chance
It'a simple story, you can't go back
Ain't nobody, nor a second chance
Isn't anything that can take you back

Just a thought now, in the air
Learn your way now, it's simple fact
